At ZipNTime we offer more than just an outdoor adventure - we also incorporate the history of North Georgia, both in general and specifically related to the Nacoochee Valley. From the Native American inhabitants, to the gold rush, to the moonshine makers - this region is home to a rich and varied history. Get to know our guides and let them take you on a trip through time as we visit each of these periods of history.
All of our guides have been trained by professional trainers to meet ACCT standards.
Our Experienced Team:
Danny Otter, General Manager, grew up in Lumpkin County 12 miles north of Dahlonega. He spent much of his childhood outside fishing, swimming, and just being in the woods. He married his childhood sweetheart Jan Otter and they have one married daughter Meg Luke, one precious granddaughter Lily Rae Luke, and a pretty good son-in-law Josh Luke (who also works at ZipNTime).
Danny spent most of his career as a builder and developer. He has been responsible for the construction and development of many residential, commercial and industrial developments in North Georgia. In 2011, one of his clients offered him the opportunity to create a world class outdoor adventure park on 600 acres located in Historic Nacoochee Valley adjacent to the city of Helen.
“Our mission is to create the perfect outdoor family adventure facility. I never wanted to just have a job and making money is not the secret to happiness. Loving what you do and who you do it with is much more important. All of the folks that work here are family to me and I love them all.“
Love God with all you have and all you need will be provided.
